Health Informatics & Data Science Collaborative
The NUCATS and I.AIM Health Informatics & Data Science Collaborative fosters innovation, collaboration and a sense of community among informaticists at Northwestern University. Faculty, staff, students and others at Northwestern, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago are welcome to join. The collaborative offers interactive events and shared opportunities to spur innovation and offer support around information technology and data processes related to health. Upon joining, members are added to the community in Teams.
Data Analytics & Informatics Resources
NUCATS offers a wide range of data analytics and informatics resources and services through its Center for Biomedical Informatics & Data Science, including support for Biostatistics & Research Design activities. Resources include biostatistics expertise for proposal development, study design, data management, statistical analysis and manuscript preparation.
Enterprise Data Warehouse, Study & Trial Recruitment Tools
For information on the Northwestern Medicine Enterprise Data Warehouse and access to their services, see IT on the Feinberg Hub. The Hub also includes IT's clinical research tools, such as Study Tracker, REDCAP and the i2b2 Feasibility Query Tool.
Additional Software Tools & Development
Competitions provides tools for investigators, reviewers and administrators to run various types of reviews and competitions, including pilot projects and research awards.The Galter Health Sciences Library also has informatics software available for use on library computers and a license to the web-based pathway analysis package GeneGo MetaCore.
Open Source
Systems developed by NUCATS are released as open-source projects, meaning their source code is publicly available for other institutions to view. The source code for these software tools can be found in a few public source code repositories:

Web Services
Get web services, including site development, social media and web content strategy and Cascade content management system training, through Feinberg's Office of Communications.
