Catalyzing, Accelerating & Transforming Translational Science
Access NUCATS Support
The Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute provides scientists with consultative resources and expertise to accelerate how quickly transformative scientific discoveries make their way from the lab to patients and communities. It's our goal to continually increase the quality, safety, efficiency, and speed of innovative clinical and translational research.
We offer training opportunities for investigators and research staff alike, including individual classes in our Master's of Science in Clinical Investigation degree program.
Working closely with community partners and providing resources that promote community-engaged research are key tenets of our mission.
We resolutely commit to addressing structural barriers and systemic racism that impede the conduct of science and the training and development of scientists.
Additional support services are available through the Galter Health Sciences Library & Learning Center at Feinberg School of Medicine.
