Dixon Translational Research Grants
The Dixon Translational Research Grants initiative seeks proposals for innovative, multidisciplinary clinical and translational research collaborations at Northwestern Medicine that can make an impact in medical science at a national level.
Award Classifications
Innovation Award: Supports research opportunities with the potential to advance Northwestern Medicine strategies.
- Maximum award amount: $50,000
- Funding Period: Two Years
New Investigator Award: Stimulates development of extramural funding for fellows, residents or clinical investigators within the first three years of their career.
- Maximum award amount: $35,000
- Funding Period: Two Years
Priority Research Initiative Proposals: Supports significant, multidisciplinary research with the capability to produce innovative outcomes in a strategic priority clinical area.
- Maximum award amount: $300,000
- Funding Period: Three Years
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to all physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals. Priority is given to new investigators and novel projects that enhance clinical and translational research at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and facilitate research that can make a meaningful impact on medical science at a national level. Project applicants must provide an NMHC fund account, and projects must have IRB approval.
