Open Funding Opportunities
Below are links to other pilot funding resources through Northwestern University and its campus partners that are currently accepting applications. While not necessarily translational in nature, these programs could fund the early stages of biomedical research. Some of these opportunities are restricted to members of a specific institution, center or institute. Feinberg School of Medicine Multi-Investigator Seed Grants
- The Feinberg School of Medicine is pleased to announce a new program that will provide seed funding up to $15,000 (up to $500-$1,000 for a retreat and up to $14,000 for application preparation) to initiate new multi-investigator grant applications involving Feinberg faculty. The funds are intended to support new applications, preferably to the National Institutes of Health. There is an expectation of casting a wide net, such that research projects ought to involve at least two faculty members from outside the home department of the principal investigator, which may include Evanston.
