Enhancing Quality in the Translational Research Workforce Conference

This conference is open to professionals in clinical and translational research including investigators, clinical research coordinators, research nurses, monitors, project and site managers, regulatory staff, research assistants, and allied health professionals. The conference offers the opportunity to gain additional knowledge on current trends and issues in clinical research for application in their professional setting. This year's agenda will include a networking reception at the conclusion of the event.

Upon completion of this session, participants should be able to:
1. Examine the impact of major trends and forces in the Clinical Research Enterprise.
2. Discuss the evolving role of Research Ethics Consultation Service (REC).
3. Recognize and embrace the challenges involved in designing and incorporating new layers of participant-generated data in research and care.
4. Describe the benefits of professionalizing the clinical research workforce.
This continuing nursing education activity is under review by the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational
Early Bird registration is $149. Prices increase on March 29, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. CST to $175. Registration closes on April 23, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. CST. There are no refunds unless the event is canceled by NUCATS Institute before the start of the program. Walk-in registrations the day of the event are welcomed as space permits on a first come first served basis. Walk-in registrants must pay with a credit card.
