Starzl Academy for Physician-Scientist Training
Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine has established integrated, multi-departmental Physician-Scientist Training Programs (PSTPs), organized via the Starzl Academy for physician-scientist training, to mentor postdoctoral graduates (MD/PhDs or MDs with significant research experience) from residency training to faculty appointment.
The programs are designed to enhance the general training program with the opportunity for additional research-intensive training consistent with the needs of the individual and with the requirements of the specialty boards. At the completion of training, a PSTP scholar will be prepared to pursue a career as both a physician-scientist and a board-certified specialist or sub-specialist.
All residency applicants are invited to explore their PSTP options via the Starzl Academy website.
