| This course is for Northwestern University and affiliate employees only. Participants are introduced to all the offices involved in approving and facilitating research at Northwestern University and the McGaw Medical Campus, including Northwestern University's Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR), Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH), the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute, and the Clinical Research Office (CRO) of the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center. Learn about the role each office performs, what forms they require, how to contact them for questions, and how all the pieces of the approval process fit together. This seminar is a valuable orientation for new employees, new investigators, research staff, and all interested members of the Northwestern research community. Seminars are held in the Baldwin Auditorium in the Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center at 303 E. Superior on Northwestern University's Chicago Campus, in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
