The MCTS Scholars Program is designed to support the early research career development of junior faculty who will be engaged in clinical or translational research. It is uniquely positioned among institutional K awards, to benefit a wide spectrum of clinical or translational researchers across Northwestern University. The award provides salary support and additional resources to ensure protected time for mentored research and didactic training in clinical research across a wide variety of project topics and academic areas.

Are you participating in clinical or translational research? Do you conduct research with patients, patient materials or patient data? If so, please click on the links below for additional information on how the NUCATS KL2 program
may benefit you.

If you would like to contact us to talk more about your project and whether it would qualify, please email your question to nucats-ed@northwestern.edu and Program Director, Dr. Richard Pope will follow up with you to discuss your project further.
