Josefina Serrato, B.A, is a Community Networker with the Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC) in the Northwestern University Clinical and Translational Sciences (NUCATS) Institute. She has excellent interpersonal skills and experience and knowledge of local community-based organizations. Her most recent position was with Senator Durbin’s Chicago Office as a constituent services and community outreach ambassador.  Prior positions include community liaison to Mayor Richard M. Daley’s re-election campaign, and Project Coordinator at Chicago Public Schools Education to Careers Program. She is a long time volunteer at local organizations like Instituto Del Progreso Latino, Casa Central, and Mujeres Latinas en Accion.
